Shelley's Place is on the historic Napier's Hospital Hill not far from beautiful Napier Botanical Gardens which were created more than 150 years ago.

Stroll around the stunning gardens and admire the large trees, many of which are more than a century old, or take in some of the bird life in the garden's aviary.

Just a 10 minute walk down the hill from Shelley's Place is Napier city, known worldwide for its stunning Art Deco architecture.  You'll also find fabulous shopping and cafes to sit and pass the time and countless attractions.

You may like to take a stroll along the waterfront on the region's Rotary walkway which stretches from Bayview to Hastings.

Shelley's Place is a great base for you to explore fabulous Hawke's Bay Wine Country. Spend your days visiting the region's many attractions from wineries and cafes and the Hawke's Bay Farmer's Market, to the National Aquarium of New Zealand or for something a little different visit the Gannet Colony at Cape Kidnappers .

At night why not wander into Napier city and enjoy a meal at one of the many cafes and restaurants along Marine Parade on the waterfront.
